Mahjong

On Friday I went to this cool resort along with the colleagues here for some team building and celebration. The resort had activities like swimming, tennis court, squash court, table tennis, bowling, pool table etc etc.

We played Mahjong there. Mahjong is a Chinese board gambling game which is played by four persons. They have to match tiles based on the design, number or the word on the tile. The game gained a lot of popularity in the US in the 1920's. Here is a Mahjong game in action:


Now because its a gambling game, a lot of families forbid their children to play this game.
