GSM users in India increase by 1.57 million

The number of GSM users in India increased by 1.57 million users in the month of June. Now the GSM user base stands at 44.92 million customers, up 3.63 percent over May and 54 percent over last year.

CDMA has 11.37 million users in India, while total wireless subscriber base in India stands at 57.443 million.
