Hotmail hack and more hits

1/18/2005 07:28:00 AM, posted by anand

Ever since I posted the Hotmail size increase hack, I get a lot many hits to my simplesecurity site directed from search engines. Google leads the pack, followed by Ask Jeeves (surprise, surprise!), Yahoo, MSN, Excite and finally Altavista.

This definitely means that people are not happy with their Hotmail's 2 MB mailbox size and are looking for hacks to make it bigger. In my opinion if this is such a big deal, MSN (which operates Hotmail) should do something about it. Of lately, a few people have seen their accounts surge to 25 MB, but it is still measely considering Google's gargantuan 1 Gigabyte of storage.
