A9 getting back into the game

The A9 search engine, that pretty much everybody had written off, has apparently come back into the game with a cool new technology called "Block View" for the Yellow Pages. When you search for some (business?) address using A9's Yellow pages they show you a complete Block View of that area. Block View allows users to see storefronts and virtually walk up and down the streets. They took 20 million photographs to show Block View's of 10 cities. A very interesting read of how they accomplished the whole thing is mentioned on their site.

I highly recommend trying out this Block View feature from A9. Click on the images that appear next to the search links. They would take you to Amazon's site. Now to 'walk up and down the street' just click on the right and left arrow keys. Cool, aint it?
