Free local calls in India

MTNL is going to offer free local calls in Delhi when it starts its broadband service there from January of next year. Check out this story on rediff. They are going to charge a lumpsum for broadband which includes the price for the local calls also. Tings are finally looking good for the telecom subscribers in India.
