Google acquires maker of digital maps

Today Google bought Keyhole corporation, a maker of digital maps. I can see a map service coming out of them in the near future. They keep denying that they want to beome a portal, but from their actions it is plain clear that they are heading into that direction. Presently, Google portfolio includes GMail, Picasa, Blogger, Froogle, Google News, Google Print (book search) etc. I can see a portal in the making.
