The Alchemist

Since I started reading 'The Alchemist' about a couple of days ago, I just couldnt resist keeping the book down. Went on an accelerated track and completed reading it yesterday (though, it might take more time to digest and understand it).

Its a captivating fable of a young sheperd who by chance meets an old man. The old man encourages and blesses him to follow his dreams and pursue his destiny. The rest of the story is about the various experiences the boy has on his path of the destiny. The one phrase that kept repeating itself in the book was "When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream". The author, Paul Coehlo, beautifullly brings out the concepts of 'Soul of the World' and 'Language of the World".

Reading this book makes you wonder about your own life and destiny.

Updates please! Dont leave this book halfway. Even better if you can get done with it in 3 days.
