Notification Project - Tomcat/MySQL

Installed Tomcat and MySQL. Created users and tables for MySQL database. This means that the DB design has been finalized. Also working on the design (both architectural and visual flow) for the notification project. Am planning to work on the project on a module by module basis. So the release would also be module by module. The first milestone for the project is getting the user into the system.

Lots of design options, have to decide on a combo of speed (as development time), reliability and scalability. Might setttle on simplicity and worry about other issues later.

Design philosophy: Simple is best, less is more.
